Archbishop Howard School was excited to open its doors September 1 to 250 students beginning the 2009–2010 school year. All students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade experience a jam-packed curriculum that includes all the core subjects, PE, music, drama, band, library, computers, and a science curriculum that partners with OMSI. After-school activities include Spanish classes, 4-H Club, and CYO sports (Go Hawks!!).

As active members in our Northeast Portland community, Archbishop Howard students volunteer hundreds of hours each year with Hollywood Loaves and Fishes, St. Francis Dining Hall, St. Vincent de Paul, the Providence Child Center, and many others. Academic excellence, faith in God, service, and community and global awareness are the goals of the mission that is the driving force in the students’ success.

For more information about openings at and tours of Archbishop Howard School, call (503) 281-1912 or go to www.archbishophoward.org.
